Outdoor leadership

Our classic outdoor leadership program is designed to allow each student the opportunity to explore their leadership potential in an outdoor environment. Whether the program includes whitewater rafting, rock climbing, or hiking, these trips are designed to help students challenge themselves while also building interpersonal skills. Students will have the opportunity to form bonds with their peers through our social-emotional-focused curriculum. This cohesive fusion of experiential learning helps prepare students to tackle challenges they find back at home while having an unforgettable adventure at the same time!

Orientation and team-building

Designed for the newly acquainted classroom, this program works to embrace the initial social unknowns and create a cohesive classroom. During this week-long program, we create a safe space for growth and openness among the student group. By experiencing shared challenges in an outdoor setting, students will have the opportunity to lead and support one another while developing a growth mindset. Whether that is mountain biking, rock climbing, or whitewater rafting, this program will change the classroom dynamic for the school year to come by building a more compassionate, self-reliant, and connected community.

Rite of passage

The rite of passage trip is designed for students about to enter a significant transition period, like graduating from high school. This program offers a space for students to fully embrace and experience both physical and social-emotional closure before taking their next steps in life. We focus on growing self-reliance in new environments while concurrently completing an adventure-based challenge like summiting Kilimanjaro or completing a raft trip down the Grand Canyon. The physical pinnacle of this trip simultaneously coincides with an emotional curriculum that allows for vulnerability in a supported setting. This trip is a capstone of their youth experience and helps create a distinct memory of bonding, growth, and closure.
