Ali K

Originally from Louisiana, Ali attended Louisiana State University. After graduation, she moved to Tampa, Florida where she worked in the financial industry for a few years before moving back to Louisiana and becoming a first-grade teacher. Ali loves LSU football, snow cones, smiling, her family, her dog, hanging out with old and new friends, traveling, and having FUN! She has been able to check off a lot of fun adventures on her bucket list including living in Italy as a foreign exchange student, volunteering in Zimbabwe for community and wildlife projects, traveling with her family to India, working as an au pair in Spain, and solo backpacking around Europe. She is thrilled to lead trips and take on new adventures with the Bold Earth family this summer, and is excited to work with students outside of the classroom. Ali has been trained as a wilderness first responder and is CPR certified.
