Brett K

Trip Leader: Pacific Northwest Adventure 1 & Pacific Northwest: Coast to Cascades 2

A Chicago native, Brett is finishing his degree in Human Development and Family Science at the University of Georgia. Outside of the classroom, Brett serves as a trip planner for the University of Georgia Outdoor Adventure Club where he organizes weekly adventure trips for students interested in the outdoors. Brett is also involved with Extra Special People, an organization at the University of Georgia designed to curate unique experiences for students with autism and their families. 

Prior to joining the Bold Earth team, Brett worked as a travel counselor for Summit Camp and Travel, a program designed for teens with special needs who are interested in travel and exploration. In his free time, Brett enjoys climbing, backpacking, and is also an avid runner. Brett has been trained as a wilderness first responder and has certifications in swift water rescue as well as technical ropes rescue. He is extremely excited to spend his summer leading Bold Earth students.
