Graeme M

Originally from Chicago, Graeme developed his love for the outdoors in the north woods of Michigan. He spent time backpacking, kayaking, sailing, and canoeing in the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, and deep into the woods of Ontario. After spending a summer working in California, he fell in love with the American West, returning two years later to complete a northbound thru-hike of the John Muir Trail. Previously, Graeme has worked as a sailing instructor and camp counselor, and is ecstatic to have the opportunity to share his love for the outdoors with others. Graeme graduated in May of 2022 from Ball State University with a bachelor of fine arts in Theatre. He believes that the best stories come from the great outdoors, and is overjoyed to help others create those stories for themselves. When he isn’t out on the trail, you can find him curled up with a good book, working on the next outdoor adventure bestseller, or listening to a record with a nice cup of tea. Grame is a wilderness first responder and joins us as a first year Bold Earth trip leader.
