Jess S

Jess grew up in and around Grand Rapids, MI, where she recently graduated from Calvin University with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Philosophy. During her time at Calvin, Jess became heavily involved in the outdoor recreation program where she led trips, taught climbing classes, managed the rock wall, and found whatever sun Michigan had to offer as often as possible! Jess has also worked for the Teton Science School, spending time outside, learning and teaching about place-based experiential learning. Jess is a wilderness first responder and joins Bold Earth for her first year.
