Lily S

Originally from Columbia, Missouri, Lily headed west to attend the University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY. It was here that she discovered the freedom, beauty, and connection that comes with living a life outdoors! While at the University of Wyoming, Lily was a part of the women’s swimming and diving team and she spent two seasons working with the Wyoming Conservation Corps where she led conservation projects on public lands across the state of Wyoming. Lily spent the last year working as a backpacking guide for a wilderness therapy program in Bend, Oregon, where she now calls home. Lily rarely says no to an adventure, and it’s this spirit that has led her to pretty cool places, like a river raft through the Grand Canyon, a high alpine lake in Patagonia, many mountain peaks, and a canoe in the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota. Lily is happiest when she’s completely covered in dirt and laughing around a campfire. Lily is a wilderness first responder and joins Bold Earth for her first summer.
