Maddie S

Originally from Chapel Hill, NC, Maddie recently graduated from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (go blue!) with a degree in business. Maddie’s love for the outdoor industry began when she took a semester off school to work at Deer Valley Ski Resort. Since graduating, Maddie has worked various seasonal jobs in the outdoor industry, from teaching sandskiing and sandboarding in Peru to working at a lodge in Denali National Park, Alaska. Maddie has many years of experience working with youth as an instructor for her North Carolina based competitive jump roping team, and has traveled all over the world to compete and lead international rope skipping workshops. She currently resides in Big Sky, MT, where she spends most of her time skiing, hiking, and finding fun adventures to go on. Maddie has been trained as a wilderness first responder and is excited to spend her summer leading trips with Bold Earth!
