Maia C

Originally from Stillwater, Minnesota, Maia currently teaches high school mathematics out of a western suburb of Minneapolis. She graduated with her bachelor’s in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota in 2020 and is currently working towards her master’s in Education. She’s also worked as a canoe guide in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness where she lead canoe trips in the summer and facilitated winter camping expeditions. Along with teaching, Maia also works as a harpist and composer, frequently working with artists and local businesses throughout the Twin Cities. Maia has been trained as a wilderness first responder and is certified in CPR.
