Mariah M

Originally from Connecticut, Mariah spent a lot of time on the road with her family traveling throughout the east coast and midwest. Growing up, Mariah’s favorite activities were fishing, foraging, and exploring the woods around her. Mariah graduated from Warren Wilson College in western North Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in social work and outdoor leadership. She currently calls a combination of North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee home, where she’s been working odd jobs while actively pursuing her master’s of social work. Mariah has worked at a therapeutic boarding school and a trip leader for a local adventure guiding company in Asheville, NC. Outside of work and school, Mariah can be found in a water aerobics class, kayaking, camping, or planning her next adventure! Mariah is a wilderness first responder and certified lifeguard and joins Bold Earth for her second summer.
