After growing up in the suburbs of Chicago with a love and passion for cross-country, Max pursued a degree in Computer Science from UW-Madison while working as a system administrator and IT support specialist for the Pepperell Microbiology Lab. The past few summers, Max utilized his wilderness first responder certification while working as a climbing activity counselor and outdoor trip leader in western North Carolina. Max is incredibly excited to continue to grow and learn through further experiences in outdoor education during his second season with Bold Earth and third summer as a trip leader!
