Megan “Mo” O

Mo is originally from North Carolina and went to NC State to study wildlife sciences. After graduation, she worked as a field biologist and a backpacking guide for 2 years in various places, from Yosemite National Park in California to the tundra of Alaska. She moved to Vermont (her current stomping grounds) to work as a backpacking guide, taking youth on multiple week-long backpacking and camping expeditions. She fell in love with the tiny state and has lived there for 2 years, working in a school as a behavioral interventionist. In her free time she enjoys looking at birds, skiing, rock-climbing, and backpacking. Mo has been trained as a wilderness first responder and is CPR certified. She can’t wait to lead trips this summer!
