Mo

Trip Leader: Hawaii Adventure 1

Raised in Philadelphia, Mo’s passion for the great outdoors ignited at age 11 after a transformative backpacking trip. He has taken courses in mountaineering, survival skills, rock climbing, & ice climbing at the International Wilderness Leadership School and  Boulder Outdoor Survival School.

Since then, he has devoted his summers to teaching outdoor living skills at a camp in New York’s Putnam Valley and guiding backpacking expeditions for youth in western North Carolina, where he now resides. He is currently pursuing a degree in nursing.

When not on the trails, Mo enjoys climbing, mountain biking, knitting, and playing chess. An avid observer of nature, he often finds himself enviously watching the neighborhood squirrels, dreaming of one day being able to effortlessly leap from tree to tree.

A certified Wilderness First Responder, Mo brings extensive experience and an infectious enthusiasm for fostering fantastic adventures at Bold Earth this summer. Under his guidance, students are sure to forge unforgettable memories while exploring the great outdoors.
