Raffelina G

Originally from San Diego, Raffelina is a full-time life enthusiast and high school History teacher. She laughs loudly, smiles easily, and is always eager to learn something new. She calls many places home and has worked many roles around the world including barista, summer camp director, backpacking trip leader, community event organizer, animal caretaker, and teacher. She studied Sociology and Education at UC Santa Cruz and recently earned her master’s degree in Education at the High Tech High Graduate School of Education. In her free time, Raffelina loves to swim in the ocean, craft, read, write, hike, bike, travel, pet cats, spend quality time with family and friends, dance/sing badly, and daydream about the future. Raffelina has been trained as a wilderness first responder and lifeguard. She is joining Bold Earth for her second season.
