Sally W
Trip Leader: Colorado Discovery 1 & Colorado Bold 2
Sally gained a love of traveling early on, growing up in New Jersey, Japan, California, and Ohio. She recently graduated from the University of Richmond with a degree in Psychology, studying the effects of the environment on brains and behavior. Passionate about conservation and wildlife, Sally uses music and film to communicate topics around mental health and our connection to nature. She spent one year in the Chesapeake Conservation Corps where she worked in urban agriculture and developed a youth after-school program, also producing a short documentary on the project. Prior to working with the Conservation Corps, Sally spent several summers working as a camp counselor, engaging campers in fun and safe activities working with horses. Sally looks forward to further helping youth discover their outdoor passions this summer. Sally has been trained as a wilderness first responder and is CPR certified.
