Founded in 1976, Bold Earth has more than 43 years of experience as a leader in teen summer camp travel. We specialize in small group travel that allows us to go places other groups can’t. We have facilitated more than 20,000 (and counting) successful teen tours for our students. Along the way, we have accumulated a great depth of knowledge and experience in the industry and a well-earned reputation for our careful attention to our students and families.
We have operated in Colorado and Utah for 40+ years. Our goal has always been to provide a safe, authentic experience that develops a passion for adventure and travel in our students. In order to do this well, we have split up our Colorado teen adventure camps according to age. Please explore the options below to find the perfect Colorado tour for you.
Note: The two Colorado trips below are identical. The only difference is the age of the participants and date availability. All the accommodations are camping with access to bathroom facilities.
Colorado Bold
The best of the ROCKIES and desert
Colorado Bold was developed in our own backyard. For 43 years, Bold Earth was based in Colorado where we acquired the best hiking permits and outfitters in the business. This 14-day teen tour takes students on an inspiring journey from the mountains of Colorado to the deserts of Utah.

Colorado Discovery
The perfect intro to Bold Earth and what we do.
This 14-day trip is identical to the Colorado Bold program. We split up trips according to age so that students can share their adventure with their peer group.
